Food that our family loves...

Who doesn't love food?!?! Who doesn't love homemade food?!?! Ok, now...reality check, who has time to make everything from scratch every...single...day?!?! Now, we like to eat clean & organic as much as possible & a majority of our diet is organic, but you have to splurge on treats occasionally! And baking is my favorite!!! So, when we do want sweets, we feel it's healthier to make our own, rather than buy things from the store. So, this first recipe may not be clean or organic, but it SO yummy (& super quick!)

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla (I rarely measure things, so eyeball it!)
1 cup peanut butter

Combine the sugar, egg, and vanilla. (I ❤️my Kitchenaid stand mixer!!!) add peanut butter & mix well. Form into 1" balls, (I use my grandmas antique cookie shaper). Place your criss-crosses on each cookie. (I'm still not sure why this is done to only peanut butter cookies!! Anyone have that answer?!?!)  place on a cookie sheet & bake @ 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. This is a small batch recipe & will make about 2 dozen.
