Wow! It seems like it's been forever since I last wrote! A lot has happened! We had 2 ER visits with our oldest, lots of traveling for our kids sports, my college classes, and our farm! Spring is right around the corner, (Whoo-hoo!!!!!)
We have increased our customers on our CSA. We have also increased the Share options. We offer 4 share options to choose from. We have met lots of new people over the Winter with the CSA & sales. I look forward to the Farmers Market this hear. We'll get to see current customers & meet lots of new faces!
We will have quite a few field trips coming up in April, so we are planning for those. I'm anxiously awaiting planting time in the garden!!!! I can't hardly wait!
There are always projects on the farm. We hope to replace some of the barn roofs this year. A few barns are in desparate need. We are hoping to repainted the kitchen cabinets, ok, I use the term, we quite loosely in the previous statement, 😉 Actually, it's only myself that cares, but My Farmer is one of the most amazing men ever, so he is going along with the plan. I spend so much time in my kitchen...cooking, baking, canning, homework with the kiddos, etc., so I feel it needs an update.
Time is moving WAY too fast. As my sweet, little 4 year old hops around the house, I realize that next year will be an extremely hard year. He is my youngest & he will be starting Kindergarten. 😥
Tomorrow is class Valentine parties for each of our kids. So I will be running from class to ,lass to enjoy their parties. Then, My Farmer is taking our daughter to the local Daddy-Daughter dance. They will both dress up, he will give her a corsage, then take her to a local church for an evening of dancing. I think it's a great program for our local community! I love that it's usually a sold out program. Next month will be Mommy-Son night. It's a night of bowling! I'm looking forward to taking both of my boys!
As far as Valentines Day goes, I am a very lucky lady. My Farmer tells me daily how much he loves me and is a wonderful man! So Happy Valentines Day everyone!
